After months of studying, talking, planning...and updating iPods with the latest tunes, it comes down to this. One week from Friday, 20 Elon students will be heading to Frankfurt, Germany, the first stop on a more than three week study of the European Union. Lead by Political Science professor, Dr. Betty Morgan, students will get to see how a united Europe really works. Also along for this study abroad is Communications professor, Dr. Rich Landesberg. Among the stops: Frankfurt, Germany; Brussels, Belgium; Budapest, Hungary; Vilnius, Lithuania; Vienna, Austria; Luxembourg and other places.
We'll be using this space to keep family, friends and colleagues in touch with our travels. We'll update whenever we have time and a good internet connection. And watch the space to the right of this posting, "what we learned today." That's where you will be able to hear a series of audio discussions as students explain what they've seen or heard that day and what they've learned.
